La Fuga—meaning “the escape”—was born out of a dream to create a quiet refuge in one of the world’s most vibrant surf destinations. Our story is rooted in simplicity, authenticity, and a deep appreciation for Siargao’s natural beauty.
La Fuga Siargao began as a simple family dream — a shared vision to create a peaceful space where travelers could truly experience the beauty and laid-back rhythm of island life.
The idea came naturally. With a background in hospitality, our father had long imagined opening a small bed and breakfast. Our mother, always full of creative ideas, was just as inspired to bring that dream to life. Together with us — their children — each contributing in our own way, we set out to turn that vision into something real.
La Fuga slowly grew from a personal idea into a heartfelt project, rooted in our love for travel, meaningful connections, and the island we now call home. It became a way to blend professional experience with personal passion — something built with intention, care, and a desire to share what we love most about Siargao.
We believe in slow living, meaningful experiences, and creating a space where travelers can pause, reflect, and reconnect—with nature, with others, and with themselves.

Be Pawsitive (SEC Registered) is a dedicated animal welfare organization and a champion of responsible pet care. Their core mission revolves around promoting the well-being of animals and advocating for responsible pet ownership, primarily through their spaying and neutering initiatives. They firmly believe that every animal deserves love, care, and a healthy life. By focusing on spaying and neutering, Be Pawsitive aims to effectively control pet populations, reduce the number of strays, and ultimately prevent the suffering of countless animals. All proceeds generated by Be Pawsitive are directly utilized to organize and fund their crucial Spay and Neuter events.

The Siargao Music Collective is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the vibrant arts scene on Siargao Island.
